This is Nathaniel Miller…well, it’s not me so much as it is sentences I typed and the image I posted. I live and work in the beautiful city of Raleigh, North Carolina, specifically New Life Camp. Some of my favorite stuff to do here is teach Introduction to Literature, enjoy stories and art through music, movies, and books, and visit places like Jubala Village Coffee and Videri Chocolate Factory.
As my favorite books to read are The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, I am often asked which is my favorite. For a long time, I didn’t have an answer. But after multiple readings and enjoying the amazingly well done radio theatre version by Focus on the Family, I can say that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is my favorite. A brave crew sets sail on some amazing adventures with a final goal in mind: to reach the utter east, Aslan’s country.
My voyage is also full of adventures and mishaps, sins and delights. But I am sailing to the distant shore and all along the way, my Jesus is revealing His magic, His wildness, and His love. He’s making all things new, the sad things become untrue. Thank you for reading these ponderings of a dawn treader along the way.
